MEET THE WHARTON EUROPE BOARD
ALEXANDER MARKKANEN
Co-President
Alexander was born in Singapore but raised in Stockholm, Sweden. He is currently a senior in Wharton concentrating in Business Analytics and Finance. Upon graduating, he hopes to venture into Private Equity to gain experience and eventually start his own company.
HARRY MARKHAM
Co-President
Harry is a junior from London. He is currently pursuing an uncoordinated dual degree in Business in Wharton and Political Science in the College. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, reading and running.  He is also involved in arts-based club The Collctve and Europenn.
KONRAD KOENIG
Treasurer
Konrad is a Junior studying Finance and Business Economics & Public Policy at the Wharton School. He grew up in Germany but has also lived in China and Hong Kong. Outside of class, Konrad is also involved in the Penn Field Hockey club and the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program at the Lauder Institute
MARGAUX CARRE
Vice President of Events
Margaux is a junior in Wharton studying Finance and Strategic Management. She was born in Paris, France, but moved to New York City when she was ten. Within Wharton Europe, Margaux loves organizing events that connect Penn students to business opportunities in Europe.
NICOLE VERECZKEY
Vice President of Corporate Relations
Born and raised right outside of New York in the charming town of Rye, Nikki is half Hungarian and half only-Ancestry.com-knows, and currently lives in San Francisco. A junior in the college, she hopes to pursue International Relations and Consumer Psychology and to continue learning languages. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, cooking, travel, and scuba diving.
RAPHAËL NOUFELE
Vice President of Operations
Raphaël is a sophomore in the College currently studying Economics. Born in Paris and of Cameroonian origin, he was raised in Manhattan, New York. In his free time, he enjoys supporting his favorite club PSG, as well as listening to hip hop music.
BÉATRIX PRATTE-NESS
Vice President of Research
Béatrix is Canadian and grew up in Monaco and Geneva. She is a senior in the Huntsman Program targeting Spanish and concentrating in Finance. She is interested in the art markets as well as business journalism.
MARIA AMUSATEGUI
Vice President of Internal Affairs
Maria is a junior in Wharton concentrating in Finance and Business Analytics. She is from Spain but grew up in England.
MAX TOPIOL
Vice President of Recruitment & Development
Max is a sophomore at Wharton from Montreal, Canada. He is studying Finance and Behavioral Economics to cater to his interest in psychology. He is interested in the intersection between Business and Psychology, and wishes to apply his passion to understanding Business and Public Policy in a new light.
ZOLTAN CSOKNYAY
Committee Member - Corporate Relations
Zoltan, a Wharton senior, grew up in Budapest, Hungary and studies Finance and Real Estate. While at Penn he started his own clothing brand Hooded Staff and hopes to flood the world with his dope hoodies. He also enjoys playing chess.
DENNIS OUSSENKO
Committee Member - Corporate Relations
Dennis is a junior studying finance in Wharton and philosophy in the College. His family is from Ukraine and Russia. He lives in New Jersey. In his free time, he enjoys boxing, politics, and writing.

Coming from Paris and Geneva, Alex is a french student in the Class of 2022 in the College. Outside of class, he plays tennis and swims regularly. He joined Wharton Europe in order to help Penn students discover the various benefits and differences of studying in Europe compared to the US.
OZZI ALKHAYAT

Ozzi grew up in Cairo, Egypt but is currently based in Geneva, Switzerland. His family is Dutch on his mom's side and Syrian on his dad's side. He is a senior studying finance, and hopes to get a minor in CIS. After graduation, he plans to work in consulting.
NOA ATTIAS

Noa Attias is a sophomore at Penn studying in the Huntsman Program. Born in New York to French parents, she spends her summers in Paris and is fluent in French. She hopes to use her experience at Penn to develop a career in corporate law in Europe.
HARALD ERICI
Committee Member - Events
Harald is a sophomore in the College studying PPE. From his home on a small farm in southern Sweden, Harald has traveled a lot throughout Europe, even working as a ski guide in Italy for several months. Interests include theatre, competitive fencing, and issues ranging from local Swedish politics to globalization and emerging technologies.
GERGELY GYUMOLCSOS
Committee Member - Research
Gergely is a sophomore from Budapest, Hungary, studying economics. He enjoys keeping up with European politics and economic issues, especially as the continent is facing a period of strong polarization inside the EU. Outside of school, Gergely loves everything water-sport related, having been a competitive kayaker himself, and enjoys running along the Schuylkill river.

Brina is a sophomore in the Huntsman Program targeting German. She is originally from Slovenia but grew up in London. She plans on majoring in Finance and International Studies
JUSTIN ZHENG

Justin is a sophomore studying in Wharton. He is originally from Tampere, Finland but his family is from Hong Kong. During his spare time, Justin enjoys sports, napping and traveling.
MARIJA CURNIC
Marija is born and raised in Split, Croatia. She is currently a junior in the College majoring in Political Science with a concentration in Political Economy. Outside of school, she is part of Penn women’s varsity tennis team.

Elias is a sophomore from Zurich. He is currently pursuing a degree in the School of Engineering studying Computer Science. As hobbies, he enjoys watching Formula 1 and playing soccer. He is also involved in the Wharton Undergrad Entrepreneurship club.

Eleanor is a sophomore from New York, planning to study Design with minors in Cognitive Science and Engineering Entrepreneurship. Outside of classes, she enjoys listening to music, making art, and running. She is the founder of t-art magazine and is involved in 34th Street Magazine and Creative by MUSE.
GREGORIA SERRETTA FIORENTINO

Originally from Palermo, Sicily, Gregoria is a freshman at The Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business, a dual degree program between the College and Wharton. Through this club, she hopes to bring her studies to life outside of the classroom, simultaneously connecting her Italian roots with the more extensive American educational opportunities. Outside of Wharton Europe, she is also involved in the initiative First Generation Investors and the Wharton Management Club. In her free time, she enjoys squash, golf, and photography.
ARAS AGAIK

Aras is a freshman at Wharton looking to concentrate in BEPP, Finance, and Business Analytics. He is from Istanbul, Turkey and has lived there all his life, except for a brief stint in Munich. He studied at the German High School in Istanbul and is a fan of all things German, except for the food. His hobbies are Fifa, football, politics and policy, and serial eating.

Sophie is a sophomore from New York, currently studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) in the College and pursuing an American Public Policy minor with Wharton. In her free time, she swims and writes for Wharton’s International Business Review.

Edwin is a freshman at UPenn Wharton concentrating in Finance and Multinational Management with a Minor in German. In high school, Edwin engaged in a wide range of activities including FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), Ballroom Dancing, and Scientific Research. He currently lives in Denver, Colorado and enjoys skiing and exploring the outdoors. Edwin thrives in an environment of innovative ideas and ambitious thinking. He loves to get involved, play an active role in the community, and share his talents to make a positive impact.

Jessica is a freshman in Wharton from San Diego. She’s a lover of all things real estate and cannot get enough of travel, adventure, and the outdoors. Jessica is also involved in the WH Undergrad Real Estate Club and runs for Penn Track & XC.

Cameron is a Freshman from London at the College of Arts and Sciences, likely pursuing a degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics. His hobbies include playing football, following his beloved Chelsea, Djing, and reading about politics.
